Card checking process
During the card checking process, the driver's DiDb card is read by the DiDb workstation, then the typing of the PIN code is required to be typed. In case the right PIN code is typed, the driver's pofile will be displayed where the driver's most important data and information can be checked.
The process when limited information is transmitted by the system about a driver’s DiDb status and the expiry date of his/her membership based on his/her date of birth and name, or based on his/her DiDb membership number. The spot checking process can be made without the presence of DiDb card and/or the driver. The main benefit of this function is that we can check the driver's statement about starting the registration process or about his DiDb status. Other benefit during the transport organisation is that we can check transparently if the driver - based on the information that we get about his status and membership validity - is allowed to load or not.
In case any objection is raised by a DiDb user about the performance of a driver, there is a possiblity for the operators - having incident reporting authorization - to report an incident against the driver , based on either the DiDb carriage number, or the DiDb membership identifier by using the incident reporting function of the DiDb application. The driver's DiDb status - due to the online software - will be changed to "suspended" simoultanously with the incident reporting.
By using this function, you have the possibility to view the status, data all uploaded documents of your reported incidents. Most of the data can be filtered and modified, moreover you can report new incident as well.
The system messages are generated after the card checking process and serve for informing the operators about the status of registation, membership validation process or DiDb card.
The operators are entitled to use only those client functions which they have permission/authorization to use. These authorizations are: - card checking - spot checking - incident reporting - incident management - riporting Only those client functions can be seen actively by the operator on the left hand side menu bar which they have authorization to use.
Those functions are displayed here which are connected to log-in, log-out and user platform.

Designated employee(s) of carrier companies who have entered into a cooperation and data processing agreement with SECTRAN will have access to the www.didbapp.com application in order to electronically manage the registration and membership validation of their drivers in the DiDb system. The main benefit of the service is that the driver does not have to go to a DiDb registration office in person, but he can manage the registration and validation of his DiDb membership even at his employer's premises. Another benefit is that all data, documents and data sheets required for registration and membership management can be uploaded electronically, so that all administrative tasks can be performed without paperwork in the application.
